Last night, Caitlin was watching St Trinians, whilst Jemima was doing crafty things and not really paying any attention to the movie. During one of the last scenes, where Colin Firth ends up in the bed of 'Camilla' (aka Rupert Everett in drag), Jemima looked up and said "They're gay".
"Pardon?!"
"They're gay"
I still couldn't believe my ears! "What did you say?" I asked yet again.
She looked at me. "Those men are gay"
I'm hoping she means 'gay' in the teenage vernicular, meaning silly not homosexual! I dared not question any further! And she's pretty observant, recognizing a man in women's clothing.
