You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
My blog is purely for the entertainment of those friends and family who know me well. Thus a picture will often say more than words can express to the intended audience. It has never been my goal to attract more readers, if you are looking for a consistently entertaining blog, I can thoroughly recommend www.dooce.com as she is hilarious.
