The cast is off!

Jess had her cast removed this afternoon. The leg looks terrible, it has atrophied under the cast in the last 6 weeks... but it is functioning (in a manner of speaking). We have to give her gentle exercise and do physiotherapy on the joint over the next 4 weeks. She's managed to run around using it occasionally today so the prognosis looks excellent.
