Laffative

Mim has taken a few steps back in her (what we thought was completed) toilet training. She won't poo in the toilet! And I'm sick of cleaning undies!

I threatened to give her a laxative one day. Then I thought better of it and tried giving her a multi vitamin.

She now requests "Laffatives", believing that the multivitamin will help her poo in the toilet.

(It's not working!!)
Next step - castor oil!

It seems they must all do it at some point. Henry was going really well too until he became constipated. Then he was too scared to go and would go and hide somewhere and do it in his pants and always seem relieved that it didn't hurt. It also happened at a time when there was a kid in daycare wreaking havoc on a daily basis. He's since gone. Henry has not had an accident for some time now. I had to use parachoc a few times and just be patient until he came good again. It might just be the changes in having to go to daycare. There's not much privacy for them there either. Poor things, having to line up and go in front of everyone else.

Nah, it's not daycare, she started this well before going to daycare. She was constipated around Easter, and its gone on from there. We are going to Microlax her sometime soon (Michael is, I couldn't do it) and hope for a "fresh" start. I'm glad she's not the only one - a few people have said they've had similar problems.
