Mum and I went to Biella's Beauty Salon last night and had a "mini retreat". This consisted of a mini facial, a relaxing foot treatment, a manicure, and a very relaxing massage. It was wonderful having the massage, listening to the rain pouring down over the top of the obligatory "relaxing" whale music/pan flutes. I'm sure those girls go home and put on heavy metal music to counteract all that "relaxivity".
Don't know about Mum, but I felt wonderful afterwards. Just a pity that the lovely manicure and nail polish will be ruined within 24 hrs because of packing boxes and cleaning!!
